Design and optimization of renewable-based energy conversion systems

Thermal simulation of renewable-based energy conversion is a significant area of research in the
field of sustainable energy. This process involves using mathematical models to simulate and
analyze the thermal behavior of renewable energy sources, such as solar and wind power, during
the conversion process. The aim is to optimize the efficiency of renewable energy systems by
identifying and addressing heat losses and other thermal inefficiencies. Through advanced
computer simulations and modeling techniques, researchers can evaluate the performance of
different renewable energy technologies and identify areas for improvement.
The ongoing research in the field of renewable energy is expected to bring about significant
advancements in the development of more efficient and cost-effective renewable energy systems.
By harnessing the power of renewable energy, we can reduce our heavy reliance on fossil fuels,
which are finite resources that emit harmful greenhouse gases into the environment. The
development of more efficient renewable energy systems can help us transition towards a cleaner
and more sustainable energy future. This will also help in mitigating the impacts of climate
change, which is a severe global threat caused by human activities. The successful
implementation of these renewable energy systems will lead to a healthier and greener planet for
present and future generations.

The main aims of this present special issue are the following subjects:

-Harnessing the power of the sun with cutting-edge solar energy conversion systems.

-Thermal simulation and analysis of reliable and eco-friendly energy conversion systems
based on renewable energy.

-Design energy systems with the lowest level of greenhouse gas emissions from clean and
sustainable resource

-Energy, exergy and economic evaluation of thermal systems that utilize renewable energy
sources.

-Optimizing thermal energy conversion systems using renewable energy resources such as
solar, wind, and geothermal.

-Employment of Life cycle assessment (LCA) to assess the environmental impact of
renewable energy systems.
